The Penn FC Lightning 04 girls' team had a 20-21' season that was one for the record books! They ended the year with 39 wins, 5 losses, and 5 ties. This includes winning the EDP league with 9 wins and no losses, the EPYSA PA East State Cup Championship, the USYS East Regional Championship, and the USYS National Championship at the u17 age group! Along with this, they also won many of their tournaments they participated in this past season. The Lightning success includes some amazing statistics:

39 of 49 games Lightning scored first
37 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie when scoring first
24 Shutouts including State Final and National Final
26 game unbeaten streak to end the season

8 of 11 goals at nationals outside of box
 
Congratulations to all the players, coaches and fans of the Penn FC Lightning 04 team right out of Hummelstown PA!  This is the first USYS National Championship to come to our area at any age group!  This team is more than deserving of OvertimeSport.net
